Sheila Johnson
Co-Founder, BET Networks
A founding partner of BET, Sheila is an entrepreneur and philanthropist whose accomplishments span the arenas of hospitality, sports, TV/film, the arts, education and humanitarian causes. She is the first African-American woman to have a stake in three professional sports teams: the Mystics, Wizards and Capitals. She also founded and is currently CEO of Salamander Hospitality, where she oversees a portfolio of luxury properties, including the much-anticipated Salamander Resort & Spa being constructed in Middleburg, VA. In 2006, Sheila was named global ambassador for CARE, a leading aid organization fighting global poverty by empowering women.

Anastasia Kelly
Former General Counsel, AIG
Anastasia has long been one of the most famous lawyers in America, serving as EVP and General Counsel of AIG, EVP and General Counsel of Verizon Business (formerly MCI), SVP and General Counsel of Sears Roebuck, and SVP and General Counsel of Fannie Mae. She started her career as the first female professional at the Airline Pilots Association. She recently joined the DC office of DLA Piper.

Maureen Dwyer
DC Managing Partner, Pillsbury
Maureen’s practice concentrates on zoning and municipal law, and she helps clients develop new corporate, retail, institutional and office facilities, as well as residential properties. Her knowledge extends from site selection and initial acquisition through land use, historic preservation, environmental, and the building code approval process. Her clients are real estate developers and investors, corporate owners, institutions, foundations and individuals. She places a particular emphasis on representing private colleges and universities in Washington, D.C. She also has served as president of Commercial Real Estate Women.
